Hello, my name is Camila Merchán. I am a dedicated Case Management Team Lead at dePaz Cabrera Immigration Law. With a career spanning over five years in professional customer service, I’ve honed my skills and developed a genuine passion for helping others. As an immigrant myself, I understand the highs and lows of navigating the legal system.

My story starts in Colombia, where I was born and raised. My family instilled in me a few key values: hard work, dedication, and the importance of education.I obtained my degree in social communications and journalism. During this time, I was given the opportunity to work with various communities to help them by talking about their stories. It was not until 2018 that I decided to come to the United States.

In 2023, I decided to again drastically change my life by moving to Gainesville, Florida, with my husband. It took me awhile to adapt to the small city.However, I have grown to appreciate what the city has to offer. I am bilingual in Spanish and English. I am here to provide excellent service to our wonderful clients in either language.

Outside the office, I love traveling. One of my favorite things about this country are the state and national parks. I am a lover of languages; I am currently learning Portuguese and French. One of the most important things to me is spending time with my family.

At dePaz Cabrera Immigration Law, I am more than a Case Manager. I am here to guide you through your immigration journey with a smile and to help answer questions you may have. Throughout the process, I will be compassionate and dedicated during each phase.
