Hello, my name is Leonardo Moreira, and I am excited to be an intern at dePaz Cabrera Immigration Law. I am currently a Pre-Law student at the University of Florida, eager to learn more about the legal processes that shape people’s lives.

As the son of Colombian and Ecuadorian immigrants, I have witnessed firsthand how complex and meaningful an immigration journey can be. My parents instilled in me the values of hard work, compassion, open-mindedness, and respect. These are the values I strive to bring into every aspect of my work.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my sisters and friends, reading historical nonfiction, and traveling. My favorite destination so far is my mother’s hometown of Cali, Colombia, which keeps me connected to my roots. Living in Gainesville has also exposed me to diverse perspectives that continue to broaden my worldview.

At dePaz Cabrera Immigration Law, I hope to support our clients with care and understanding. With guidance from the team, I look forward to learning from each client’s unique story and helping work toward the best possible outcomes.
